East Cape Manuka Honey Active UMF 18+ 250gr/ 8.8 oz. First batch of the year arrived May 13, 2011. This year's crop has tested between 18 and 19 on the Molan activity assay. According to the rules of the AMHA, it is labeled 18+. These tests were conducted in March, and under proper storage the activity increases over time. Therefore, the current activity is likely to exceed 18. Produced from manuka trees growing wild in the beautiful and unspoiled East Cape region of New Zealand. Testing rated this honey at an Unique Manuka Factor (UMF) of 18+, certified by New Zealand's Active Manuka Honey Association. This is a rare honey, produced in small amounts, and for which there is intense global competition, so we may be out of stock at times.
